James is an absolute gem!! Truly!! I wouldn't know what to do without him. When we moved in to our place we soon discovered it was prone to extremely heavy rain which brought with it landslides, as well as the potential for bush fires. Whilst we love where we live as it is a heavenly paradise, landslides and bush fires aren't exactly fun. James' knowledge and practical understanding about what to plant, when to plant, and where to plant certain grasses and tress has been ESSENTIAL for the long term stability, future-proofing, and enjoyment of our home. In the past 2 years James has radically transformed our property so much so that we don't worry as much about nature unleashing it's worst. And having gone through a number of floods and heavy winds on the back of cyclones the proof of James' work is evident. It works! James has also created food forests with fruit trees and veggie gardens for us which provide abundant food. It's an absolute joy to have a backyard grocery store that produces way more food than we can possibly eat ourselves, so we love sharing produce with others. He's also a really lovely guy with a great sense of humor who I have to stop myself from going out to say hello to because it's so easy to hijack his time to have a few laughs. He's 100% trustworthy and professional. And quite frankly, I've never met anyone who has such a brilliant, sophisticated, well-rounded, no-nonsense and practical understanding of how to nurture nature so nature nurtures you. And by that .. I mean preventing soil erosion, planting the "right" kind of trees for the environment we live in, and improving the biodiversity and quality of flora and fauna. I could go on and on, but .. I think you get my point ... In all the years of gardeners, landscapers, and all sorts of other names out there, I've never met anyone as capable as James who does stuff that actually makes a difference that you can see, feel, hear, touch, eat and enjoy.
